GolfLast Monday I was honored to play golf to support A Kid’s Place, a special facility that enables sibling groups, prior to entering foster   care, to stay together. A Kid’s Place is a mere 5 years old and has served over 850 children in 350 families in that short time.

Their mission is “to protect and care for abused, neglected and abandoned children who have been removed from their homes.” The funds from this golf tournament support general operations, as only 50% of the funding for this wonderful organization comes from government sources. A Kid’s Place seeks to expand their residential housing to accommodate even more children.

There are many non-profits that are indispensable to the foundation of our community. I urge you to play golf for and contribute as much as you can, as often as you can, to these great causes.
