July 4th is around the corner, and like most, I’m looking forward to the fireworks! Thanks to the commercial real estate in the Tampa Metro Area, building rooftops are one of the best places to view the fireworks. Here is a break down of upcoming July 4th events where you can get a great view and have fun celebrating!

Channelside has been a staple location in Tampa. You may have heard many people talking about the upcoming renovations to the Channelside area. I think we’re all pretty excited about them. In the meantime, you have to check out Channelside for dinner and fireworks on July 4th. There’s two levels of restaurants to choose from and being right near the water you can depend on a cool breeze during the hot summer.

The Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium, also located in Channelside, is hosting an all-american themed dinner along with a fireworks display. This event will be a family-friendly and fun event in a unique space. Other activities will be able for kiddos and parents!

Tampa Bay History Center

Admission to the Tampa Bay History center will only be $5 on July 4th. The annual tradition includes costumed reenactors, representing several eras of American military history, at the History Center to interact with guests. After you enjoy the exhibits, bring a blanket and spread out in Cotanchobee Park to enjoy the Channelside fireworks display.

4th of July at Beach Bar & Restaurant

If you’re in the mood for a more grown up part then get on the beach. Beach presents 4th of July Live firework show, $7 Hamburgers, $6 Pulled Pork Sliders, and $2.50 Budlight cans! This is in the Westshore district and you’ll still be able to enjoy the fireworks.

The Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts’ in-house restaurant, the MFA Cafe, will celebrate Independence Day with the 9th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Buffet.

Guests can dine in the air-conditioned glass conservatory at the Museum while enjoying an all American buffet, entertainment, and fireworks over the water in Downtown St. Petersburg. Entertainment features Americana duo, The Hummingbirds, a playfully soulful band blending southern charm and Detroit grit.

There are lots more options but these are some of the favorites in Tampa.
